Using dynamic ranges in photoshop, I was able to make the image above stand out by brightening it. In order to get the result I did, I adjusted the level, making the photo's whites whiter, resulting in a more defined setting. I then used curves to darken an isolated part of the skyline on the truck as well as the separate building next to it. This also defined the area in the image, drawing your eye to the source of the light. This use of color and mood makes me want to try and change more natural photographs, such as woodlands or oceans to see how it would come out.

Something that I notice about your post is that you did a really good job brightening the truck. I can relate to this because I also changed the brightness of my photo when I was using curves and dynamic range. This makes me wonder where this picture was taken, and why you decided to increase the brightness. Thanks for sharing! Good Job!
ReplyDeleteI notice that the way you brightened the truck really enhanced the image, and brought out the bright blue colors! Really interesting!
ReplyDeleteI really love the way that you enhanced your image by brightening the image! I notice that both the words and the tree in the back is brighter in your final image than they were in your pre-image. I can relate to this because I often choose to brighten my image because I think that it makes it a more interesting and intriguing image to look at. I'm wondering if you ever considered using another adjustment tool or if increasing the brightness was always your initial plan.
